Pilla Soft is a one man band Mod Team, Program Developer and Web Designer/Coder, Pilla Soft came around in 2003 with the release of Age of Empires III.

Our first product was a mod for Ages of Empires III (AOE3) which was entitled "One Hit Kill Mod", original eh? As the name suggests it was a...wait for it...One Hit Kill, in all honesty though it was a rather bad attempt at introducing some realism into AOE3.

Shortly after that Pilla Soft came to be, only back then was called "CDC" or "Cheats Domain Coding", then in early 2007 CDC announced a name change to Pilla Soft or Pilla Soft Coding. Pilla Soft where to be the publishers of Pilla Soft Codings developments, but it became all to confusing so in mid 2007 Pilla Soft Coding merged into Pilla Soft.
I've been asked numerous times "Why Pilla Soft?" I never have a good answer for that though, Pilla is part of alias name for the coder, and developer of Pilla Soft, that alias being "Sgt. D. Pilla" or just "Pilla". And "Soft" well, thats rather obvious isn't it? Soft is the first part of Software, so I suppose its "Sgt. D. Pilla Software" or just "Pilla Soft", although often corrected by google to be "Pillow Soft"

Pilla Soft have been responsible for two of the biggest mods for Company of Heroes to date, those mods include "Combat Revolution" for Company of Heroes, and "Combat Revolution: The Shattering of Countries" (or "CR:SOC" or just "SOC") for Company of Heroes - Opposing Fronts, the original mod "Combat Revolution" has won Mod of the Year and Editors Choice, it has also featured in two different German Magazines including the popular "PC Power" magazine.
